Stash-buster Totals





This page is for those serious stash-busters who want to see just how much stash they are busting every month. 

 Just weigh your projects and leave me the amount in grams in a comment before the last day of every month and I will keep a record of it on here. You will find the link in the menu at the top of my blog.

 As you can see some of the participants have given me the weight of their starting stash can you believe them totals wow! I have still got more to add if you want to do the same just leave the amount in a comment.

  4. That is a great idea! Too bad my scale is not working properly (and I think I have too much yarn to even try--I am embarassed to admit ;-S )
    It is amazing that there are already 72 participants...wow!
    And many of them are really working through their stash.

  6. I feel so ashamed when I read these posts, as I just decided it was okay to grow my stash to help with the design side. :)

    Good luck and congratulations! But Nature abhors a vacuum - watch out for new yarn rushing in to take the place of the old. :)

    I think I'd better only count finished projects, so that I don't get confused along the way... so that means I can only claim 30g for January...

    I do have most of a BSJ and quarter of a lovely scarf for myself on the needles though, so I hope February will be slightly better.

    Thanks for the end of month post, I know it mus have been time consuming to prepare. It's great to see what everyone is doing with their stash though.
    I've just weighed everything I made in January and I've used up 768 grams

  20. I had an error message come up for my last post so not sure whether you got it but ...
    My overall total for February was 570g BUT I have to confess to having to add to my total weight another 1450g - dont blame me blame some lovely people bringing me lovely balls of squishyness ! tee hee - sorry Linda put me in the naughty corner xxxx

  28. My Februray Total was about 280 gramms, my March total about 300 gramms. There is still lots to go. Furthermore, I'm getting my mom's stash and my sister-in-law's sockyarn stash too. :-)

  34. Hi Linda my total for April (Im a few days early I know but know Im not going to finish anything before Wednesday)
    Total for April = 501g
    Total busted to date 2531g
    Then I have to confess to adding to my stash from end of March/beg April which is +1650g - whoopsie this was mainly due to hubby having a guilt trip and buying some and being handed some in charity shop!!! but I have promised not to add any more.......
