I had a great time visiting Yarndale on Saturday all the hustle and bustle it was absolutely teeming with visitors and because there were so many people there it was rather difficult to get any decent photo's you had to sort of jump in and snap while you could so some of them are a little blurry but I hope that you enjoy looking at them anyway.......
So what did I buy? I was so good even though I was surrounded by temptation all I bought was this yarn....
with socks in mind.
Conclusion ..
Yarndale is noisy, crowded, and expensive, for example this simple scarf below would set you back £40. BUT the atmosphere is amazing, everyone is so friendly and ready
to chat about all things crafty. Even if like me you can't afford to buy much, where else could you get so close up and personal with so much delicious yarn not to mention all the other craft related goodies, role on next year. :)

This is a rather blurry picture of Winwick Mums sock line, displaying socks that have been made by members of the sockalong, these are all going to be sent to charity, I too had a pair to hang on the line but silly me forgot to take them with me so I will have to send them on instead. It was lovely to meet with Christine and have a quick chat with her on Saturday in the knit and natter lounge.

Inside the big red double decker bus that shuttles passengers to and from the station it was lovely to see the mandalas hung at the windows and the flowers at the side of the seats |
