Thank you for all the lovely comments about my Baktus scarf, I did enjoy reading them! and the scarf making goes on so more to share on that subject later.
Now I know we have had side to side mitts and they were fun to make, this time it's the turn of the sock.
Side to Side Crochet Socks.
This time in crochet and so quick and easy.
They can be made as fun gifts in bright colours, ideal as slouch socks, nice and cosy to wear while snuggled up watching the TV or warn inside of boots to keep little feet warm in the cold winter months.
It's very easy to adjust the size just by changing the yarn and hook sizes.
They take around 50 grams of yarn and you can find the pattern here
Great stash-busters too. :)
Have a great weekend and keep warm!

They look nice Linda - very warm too. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute and they do look easy. Thanks for sharing. I think my kids would love them. It's probably a bit late to get them made for Christmas but I could aim for Valentine's Day...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful socks!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend!:)
These do look really cozy. I haven't tried making socks (yet), but it's something I've dared myself to try this winter. I'll have to knit mine as no crochet skills :] Wendy x

ReplyDeleteHello Linda. I have just started using Pinterest. I noticed that in your "My projects" folder your photos link to the correct blog posting. How did you do this? I have tried to set up a "My Finished Objects" folder, but my photos just link to my blog homepage. I'm not getting any help from Pinterest and I know that you are a blog whizz kid!!
ReplyDeletewill email you Una. :)
