Mini Rings Progress

Thank you for all the comments on my last post I really enjoyed reading them, and thank you too for your what to do with the excess chocolate suggestions, I have decided to take them to work bit by bit.

We have workmen and ambulance drivers who come down to the Day Unit for their break, I'm gonna give them a little treat by putting something out on the table now and then, I also have chocolate that has a long expiry date so that's going into the store cupboard at work for the Easter raffle..... phew saved from temptation :)

I have lots of crochet to show you but it's finding the time to get a decent photo of the things I have made, the days are so short and it's usually dull so I have to snap them when I can but for today I would like to show you my progress with the Mini rings of change Cal  hosted by Kate

Week Two

Round Six
I used Stylecraft special chunky shade 1065 Meadow

Round Seven
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Chunky in shade 742 Leaf Green.

I'm loving it so far and am very tempted to start another using my cotton stash but I would hate to get halfway through and find that I haven't got enough yarn but just think how lovely it would look in similar shades of cotton, I'm still thinking...

Many of you have been making beautiful cowls and so have I once I get a decent photo I will show you my favourite cowl pattern it's GREAT well I think so and so do some of you because you have used it too be back soon.

Have great Weekend!

  1. What beautiful crochet rings Linda. I love the Stylecraft shades, so many different ones and co-ordinating.
Yes I've been making cowls/infinity scarves too-they're great for the chilly weather-look forward to seeing your pattern,
    Best wishes

  6. You could start another one and even if you didn't have enough yarn to finish the entire pattern, it would still look great as a doily. Glad to hear you are sharing the chocolate. best wishes, Tammy

  10. These are so beautiful. I'm very "challenged" with pattern interpretation, so I'm always looking for simplicity. I would love to find a nice pattern for a round placemat with matching coaster. Can you oblige me? I'd be so appreciative. Your work is exquisite!
