First a big thank you for all the lovely get well wishes following my last post, I am recovering slowly but surely, I'm still not sure if the operation has been a success but it will take time I guess.
It has been my absolute pleasure to host the Stash-Buster Link party for more than three years, I have really enjoyed seeing all of your fabulous stash-busting makes. A huge thank you to all of those who have taken part and shared your amazing creations and by doing so you have inspired and given encouragement to all fellow Stashaholics.
I have decided for now at least to take a break from hosting the party as I'm trying to devote more of my time to designing. This doesn't mean that you can relax your stash-busting endeavours, do keep up the momentum and try and bust some stash before buying any new yarn.
I am still keeping a total for all of those who like to weigh their makes every month and your totals can be seen by clicking on the totals tab at the top of my blog.
I may be saying goodbye to the stash party but I will still be around blogging and visiting your blogs whenever I can. Hopefully I'll have new free patterns to share with you soon. If there are any requests for patterns please let me know in the comments section and I will try my best.
So for the last time a huge thank you to all of those who joined in with the March stash party, these were your favourites...
1. Shawl made by Anna from Annasimplecrochet.
2. Spring Doily made by Olga from Lacy Crochet.
3. Doily made by Natalya from my Happiness.
4. Blanket made by Barbara from Yarning Away.
Congratulations Ladies !
Have a great weekend and I'll see you soon.😊

Thanks for hosting the Stash busting party. It has been a great way to meet others with similar interests and also to discover new ideas for all that yarn. Best of luck with your designing.
ReplyDeleteLinda, you have been so tremendous hosting this for three years. Thank you so much and I can't wait to see your designs. Best of luck with that.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title of your post on my blog list, I was like: Oh no, Linda is not going to blog anymore!
I'm glad to know you will be blogging still, but only taking a break from hosting the link party. Your link party is so much fun, and I'll miss it. But, of course, you need to focus on your recovery first. And I'm looking forward to seeing your new designs.
All the best!
I hope to see you soon. A big hug to you!
ReplyDeletePhew! I had a horrible thought that you were going to give up blogging. I would have really missed you. I'm glad you will still blog and have found more interests in your enforced retirement.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Una above!! I thought you were leaving for good. So glad you'll still be around Linda. I hope you're feeling better soon, and that once you have recovered the surgery will have been exactly right. I know I haven't joined in the stash buster party much, but I've enjoyed seeing what others have made. I actually used some stash up this week ... too little, too late :( I tend to buy new yarn as I try to buy only what I need. One day I hope you'll have a more manageable stash of yarn, but I think you secretly enjoy the mystery balls of yarn (am I right?!). Take it easy my friend and enjoy your extra bit of freedom now.
