Sweet Little Lamb Hoodie

Another one for the boys, I felt I must because I have made so many little girl things it's definitely the boys turn.
I just love this little hoodie you must admit it's so sweet.

The pattern is so easy to make, I had the six pieces made in no time but... then you have to join them together.  Now if you like the sewing up and finishing bit then for you it would be a doddle but it took me ages, I would say it took just as long to finish it off as it did for me to make it.  
Having said that it was worth it and I would make it again.





Wool used - King Cole Big Value Baby Double Knit 188 grams
Hook 4.00 mm
Size to fit a one year old

For the little lamb that final touch which just finishes it off perfectly I think, I first saw it here on Ana's blog and fell in love, you can do so much with it, the pattern link is there too.  I left the beads off and just used embroidery so much safer for little people.

    OMG, it's adorable! The sheep detail puts it over the top! I love anything with a hood! Sewing it up? Ugh, I'm with you! I have no patience! I'd rather crochet for days than have to do the finishing on anything! Why is that???? Nice work, though! It's beautiful and I'm very envious! Hugs, Annette

    Adorable! The lamb really is the prefect finishing touch. I've got a mess of red yarn very similar in colour to yours which I really need to unravel and wind into balls to be able to make something nice with too :) Elisabeth x

    That's lovely. I can just see a little boy wearing it. I must take a look at the crochet pattern. It looks fairly easy.....and, yes, I'm one of those people who quite likes sewing up!!

    The little cute innocent sheep does me in.. It's sooo cute. I too much prefer a top down no sew method. Everything is taken care of n neat n tidy ... But the separate pieces coming together makes it worth the sewing,,,ESP in this case I must say!

    Such a cute hooded sweater ... love the shade of blue :) Your stash busting is positively ZOOMing along!! I've knit 2 dishcloths and 1 coaster. I'm more of a sewer, but even I don't like sewing up knitted projects (weird isn't it? I LOVE sewing!). Wendy

    Hmm, I spy a sheep! Not got one included in my makes yet! I have that hoodie pattern in my Ravelry library but not made it yet! Must try harder, it looks lovely!

    Yes...I remember that little lamb. It is so cute! And the hoodie is SO adorable. The white border bring out the blue and makes the lamb stand out. This is one project to make over and over...a winner
