Crochet Preemie Tops 1
These little tops were a joy to make, made from the top down and best of all there is no sewing involved, it's easy to adapt the pattern and add your own little touches
These little jackets are made with Aran weight yarn and a 5mm hook which I think is a bit too bulky for preemie babies so I am going to try to adapt the pattern to suit lighter weight yarns. You can find the pattern at Suzies Stuff along with lots of other great free patterns.
Now I'm off to make more hats for the guardian grandma's
They are so very pretty. Gosh, they sure do look tiny. God bless, Tammy

ReplyDeleteThey're adorable Linda. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely. Very cute. But I do agree with you that aran weight is too bulky for most preemie babies. Sweet little design though.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the link to the pattern, it looks fairly simple so I may give it a go!
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous, I would never have guessed they were aran weight by the picture. I usually use finger weight for baby stuff and I'm sure this pattern
ReplyDeletewould easily adapt. Thanks for sharing Linda x
