Basketweave
This one is nice to knit and has turned out very pretty with the striped pattern. Of course when you have stripes you also have ends which is a bit of a downfall, but it's a great way to use up oddments of yarn.
A blanket or scarf would look lovely in this stitch, just take a look at Meredith's beautiful cowl made with the same stitch here.

ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Linda, I love basket weave stitch, so easy and it gives a lovely interesting texture, pop in some stripes too and it is a very attractive idea for a project (can you see I have my designer hat on today hehe)

DeleteThose colours are very calm and peaceful. My squares are going to be very very bright.....you have been warned! I asked my sister for bright wool at Christmas and she took me at my word!
