Thank you all for joining in the fun! I have so enjoyed reading all your guesses and yes they have all been fantastic.
So here we are the full view!
Does that make it easier? lets just turn it around.
Can you see that little button on the side?
Shall we just open that and see what's inside.
Come on out you come!
Ta daaaa
Look how much you can put into it! I love it and I hope you do too. :)
The clues
I haven't seen one before
I have seen string bags before but not neatly packaged like this little cutey
You will want to take it everywhere with you
Well you will! you could have a different coloured one to pop into each of your handbags.
They are so easy to make even for a beginner
They are! and I will be showing you how to very soon.
They are great stash-busters
As you can see they use up quite a bit of yarn.
Was there a winner?
Congratulations to awemastuff (roamin in the gloamin)who guessed correctly on the 12th of June (string bag)
Dilema!! I did say I would give two of these away but only one of you guessed correctly and so I put the names of all of you with close guesses into a jar and drew one out....so was it......
Mistea - sweet little bag...well it is a bag and it is little before it's big
ftm- string dispenser..it is certainly dispensing string of a kind
Maureen- (LH) a bag to carry your wips well it could be apart from the kneedles and hooks of course cos they would fall straight through
nanajan- a bag for carrying knitting/crochet... as above
and the winner form the jar is wait till I give them a stir... (much shaking and stirring)
Congratulations Mistea!
Could you ladies please email me with your addresses, Roamin you have the first choice of colour, pink, green or beige. Mistea please give me your first and second choice of colour.
You are all winners really because you can easily make one of your own, I will be back soon with the tutorial!
Thank you all so much for joining in! I hope you had as much fun as I did. :)

The pop it in your handbag string tote! |
Can you believe that all of that can come out of such a small space? it just looks like a little purse that you could carry in your hand or pop into your pocket or handbag, and I bet your thinking well you won't get much in that! well think again.
Look how much you can put into it! I love it and I hope you do too. :)

You had most of us perplexed. I remember bags like these when I was a child. They were very light but strong, except when I was sent out with one to buy some loose potatoes. Nuff said!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant - I'm looking forward to seeing how they are made.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to put my thinking cap on and see if I can come up with a string dispenser.
