None Scratchie Scrunchie
I love this bath scrunchie something a little different from the usual washcloths and I think it's pretty just to look at even if you don't use it as a scrunchie. I have to warn you that they are addictive and making just one will not be enough, they are lovely to make very soothing I would say, and quick too.
I thought this would be a lovely gift for Mother's Day along with some fancy soap or shower gel add a bunch of beautiful flowers and there you have the perfect gift.
Thank you Jean for sharing the pattern.
Thank you all for linking, I'm so glad you like the linky party idea, I will put the party link up in my index bar at the top and you can link up your lovely makes all through March.

Happy Mother's Day to Mums everywhere.
Love the scrunchie, such a great gift idea. Make a tiny flower with the rest of the yarn to put on the package.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,
Meredith
I love those! I have made several in the past and we still use them....very very soft even after you use them several times!
ReplyDeleteLove all the little changing in your blog!
Lovely as always.
Thanks for traveling with me to my new blog and adding me to your sidebar....I see it peaking at me over there!
Hugs, Shari @ Kashmere Kisses!
Thank you Shari and thank you for visiting :)
DeleteThat's a great gift - any Mom would love to receive a bath pampering set. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Debi :)
DeleteLovely idea, Linda. Great to know it is also simple to make. It truly looks like a rose. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ana yes that's what I thought it does look like a rose :)
DeleteJust exactly what I was looking for: another addiction related to crocheting. Well you took on my rose so I will likely be taking on this - I love it. You know what this means though - cotton must be purchased as I used up my stash of cotton on the stash buster. Love an excuse to order more. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes Astri go and do your ordering any excuse haha
DeleteI love your bath scrunchie. Beautyful! It's a lovely idea! I would like to do it too, but at the moment I crochet grannies for a cushion ..., maybe later. I agree with Mereknits, it would be nice to use the rest for a blossom (or for two or three ...)Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you terra :)
DeleteThose are fun and pretty projects. I like the colors in the yarn you're using. I just love making things with cotton yarn.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely, and such pretty feminine colours too.
ReplyDeleteI see you've given Astri an excuse to buy yarn.... :)
Maybe I will do some bath scrunchies :-) Thank you for an idea.
ReplyDeleteToday I finished a crochet blanket. I used 210g of yarn.
I haven't made a bath scrunchy before. Heck, my friends won't even use the dishcloths I make for them because they say they are too pretty. :/
ReplyDeleteI had a feeling you were going to have a linky party when you said you were up to something new. :)
Hope you are having a great day. Tammy
