I'm just popping in to show you this cute little baby hat.
A gift for a friend for her first little grandson.
Made out of this book, I have had this book for a while but as yet I haven't made that much out of it of course I'm hoping to try out all the patterns at some stage, if only we could just sit and crochet all day long!
I'm still busy making baby hats and was hoping to show you a new baby hat pattern today but it's taking longer to write out than I thought, it should be finished very soon.. I hope :)
What have you got on your hook/needles?

Your baby hat is gorgeous Linda! What a super gift for a new little boy, I'm sure your friend will be delighted. Today I am having a go at the necklaces you wrote about recently-I have been doing some beading recently and love the look of these! Alison xx

The hat is so sweet. I wish I was better at crochet; your work is lovely. I'm not crocheting anything at the mo but I've just knitted a cardigan for DD and I have a SANDS blanket and large dog coat on my needles. I'm thinking of making some prem baby items as they will be quick to knit up.
ReplyDeleteCute indeed !

ReplyDeleteThe hat is adorable. Love the color combination. Making baby things is always satisfying, and giving them as gifts warms the hearts of not only the receiver, but the giver who made it. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are having a good week.

Very cute, Linda :-) I like the blue and white combo. You know me; I have a million WIPs on the hooks and still make small things on the side. Take care :-)
ReplyDeleteVery cute <3!

That's a very special little hat. I now officially have TWO works in progress.....a lap blanket and a knitted Kindle cover. I'm itching to start an Aran scarf and I'm just about to look for an interesting pattern.
